Cancellation Policy
We do our best to accommodate all our students but have a cancellation policy in place with our horses and students in mind!
- 12 hour cancellation allows a chance to make up lessons at a makeup lesson slot, these may be private or group. Anything less than 12 hours notice you forfeit your payment and makeup lesson eligibility: no refunds, no exceptions. This applies to all Deep Roots Farm activities: lessons, homeschool horsemanship, home shows, extra events, etc.
- Allowed to make up 25% of lessons per month if no prior notice was given at the beginning of month.
- If a lesson is canceled by us for any reason, students will be allowed to attend a makeup class at everyone's convenience and at no penalty to the client.
- Lessons will not be rolled over into the next month, they are purchased in monthly packages and are to be used within 30 days of the first scheduled lesson.
- Bad weather will result in unmounted- too hot, too windy, too wet, too cold for the safety of the horse and rider
- Severe weather- result in rescheduling
- We are lucky to have multiple great trainers on sight that may teach lessons on occasion.
- Most Makeup lessons will be on Saturday and may be private or groups
- Students are required to clean up after their lessons- any equipment (grooming tools, saddles, saddle pads etc) that is used needs to be returned to its proper place
